Boston is the most important cruise port in the Northeast of the United States. Over 100 cruises originate here from the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal heading for ports in New England, Canada, Bermuda, the Caribbean and Europe.
Cruising destinations change with the seasons in Boston. During Spring and Summer Norwegian Cruise Line operates over 40 cruises to Bermuda with two ships leaving weekly. In July and August Holland America Line has six cruises to Europe and Iceland.
As we get into Fall, cruises start to head for New England ports in Maine, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island for the beautiful fall foliage. Finally, the season ends with many cruise lines moving their ships to the south and the Caribbean. These so-called repositioning cruises are known to be an exceptional good deal for cruisers who don’t mind to leave on a fall day.
